"My little bundle of joy Zeus (our chocolate lab) came from Louisiana, right after the hurricane. I was not comfortable leaving him home all day without anyone loving him. I called Who Let The Dogs Out? and came in contact with Carrie Trimmer. I knew as soon as I met her and saw her interact with Zeus it would be a great fit. Zeus warmed right up to her.
I love the messages she leaves to let me know what he did at her visits, like when she took him for a walk and he seemed more interested in the sprinkler systems on neighbor’s lawn than walking. She also lets me know if he is not himself, so to keep an eye on him just in case he is coming down with something.
Zeus livens up when I mention her name, he runs to the door looking for her when I tell him Carrie is coming today. He seems more interested in looking out the window for her arrival than seeing me off to work.
I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful caregiver looking out for my pride and joy while I am working. I know he is in great hands and loved.
